Kim: I am a freelance writer and blogger, mom of 4 and budding entrepeneur. After spending many years in the health care industry, a chronic illness caused me to make a major career and some pretty major life changes. I have always collected and enjoyed antiques, collectibles, vintage and other rare items. This has led me to my current career as a modern day "picker" or as I like to call myself a treasure hunter. It gets my adrenaline flowing to find things out in the rough, take them home, shine them up and find them a wonderful new home where they will be loved and appreciated once again. This has become my quest in life and it is fun as well as rewarding. If your business is fun, then it is not a job, it is a blast!!!! I want to live each and every day as a blast! I am also married, mom to 4 wonderful kids and am a hobby breeder of toy poodles.
